The past year has been a rough one for us, in our family lives. Full of joy, and sorrows. Through it all, we managed to keep going, but many projects we started got neglected along the way.
Our larger hobby offerings are on hold (and the sites will reflect that) but we will be expanding the dollhouse and miniatures areas.
I've gotten a few kits that I really want to build, and will be documenting progress along the way. I was in the middle of some old cottage kits (the images will be posted soon) and just lost interest. I couldn't find the motivation to keep working on it, even after extinsive modifications, and about $100 of electric tape, flooring and wall cover. (more than the kit cost, and it was only about half done as the shell).
But... I've had the Thornhill sitting for almost a year and a half, and I just got Foxhall Manor, which I will be starting on very, very shortly. Right now I'm looking for information, ideas, and for the weather to warm up again so I can seal and sand the wood outside (not a thing that is really great to do inside).
I've renovated a few dollhouses, and I'm going to have the room to take in a few more if you are interested, or in need of wiring, fixups, or other repairs.
