Not much interaction and use of discussion forums

I've noticed around the web there isn't much discussion on any of the dollhouse and miniature forums. People post house pictures, or every once in awhile ask for help, but the chatter and interaction that is found on many other forums seems to be missing.
I wonder why that is?
